Since I am also an antique dealer, I come across some great old black and white photos that depict an earlier, simpler time.  When one catches my eye, I translate in paint the spirit of the people in the photo.  Hence the paintings of the Flappers and the Vacationers.  I also love to capture the image as I see it of the model.  I am currently working on a drawing series of "one second poses" of my one year old grandson.
