Located on the banks of the Arroyo, La Casita was designed in 1933 to be a community meeting house by Myron Hunt, renowned architect and a member of the Pasadena Garden Club.  It offers an idyllic place to paint the surrounding plant life and the beautiful structure.  It is still open for community meetings.

I find peace in the open air and the surroundings. Great place to paint.  This painting shows the steps up to the house and focuses on the eyecatching doors and windows of this historic place.
